The Fun Foundry began as a way for two complementary creative businesses to share festival space and build a more memorable experience together.
One tent, two creative worlds
PixelMaistir’s colorful maker creations and Faerie Dust and Treasure Co.’s glittering body art each offer something distinct. Together, they create a place where visitors can explore, choose, talk with the makers, and leave with a little more wonder than they arrived with.
The Fun Foundry operates as an arm of PixelMaistir under AJ Highlands Group LLC. AJ Highlands Group LLC currently manages the website, inquiries, agreements, and business administration. Faerie Dust and Treasure Co. participates through a collaborative festival relationship. The Fun Foundry is not presented as a separately incorporated entity.
PixelMaistir
PixelMaistir grew from more than 15 years of work in websites, graphics, logos, concept art, trophies, distinctive gifts, and custom creative solutions. About four years ago, 3D printing became a primary medium—another way to turn ideas into useful, personal, and unexpected objects.
Based in Brasstown, PixelMaistir especially enjoys unusual, case-specific requests where practical problem-solving matters as much as the finished print. Current work includes local souvenirs, signs, lightboxes, functional prints, fantasy creatures, personalized gifts, and one-of-a-kind creations inspired in part by Western North Carolina and nearby North Georgia.
Faerie Dust and Treasure Co.
Faerie Dust and Treasure Co. brings around five years of experience from local fairs, craft events, parties, and community gatherings. The partner is known for being especially welcoming with children and creates colorful glitter tattoos ranging from familiar favorites to event-specific, regional, seasonal, and pop-culture-inspired designs.
The fun comes from helping each guest choose something personal, watching the design take shape, and adding a little sparkle to the festival day. Related work includes embroidery, screen printing, mugs, tumblers, decorated goods, and fantasy-oriented gifts.
